What You Need to Know
- This event will be available to residence students with a meal plan ONLY. Admission will not be granted via guest passes or through the purchase of a walk-in pass.
- Please note that on November 5th, in preparation for the event, the expansion area of the Dining Hall (Umami & Innovation Test Kitchen) will be closed all day with the exception of the Quiet Space, which will close at 2:00 p.m. followed by the rest of the Dining Hall at 6:00 p.m.
- If you do not wish to participate in the event but are still looking to have a meal for dinner that night, we encourage students to order a Boxed Meal. Boxed Meals must be ordered no later than Tuesday, November 3rd at 4:00 pm and picked up no later than 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event (November 5th).
- To access the Dining Hall for this event, students will enter via the regular entrance to the Dining Hall (Stairwell D). Students who require mobility accommodations may use the elevator next to Stairwell D to access and exit the event. Stairwell A will be accessible as an exit only.
- Students must still bring their Campus Card with them so that they may tap into the Dining Hall through the Stairwell D entrance.
- We encourage students to dress up in costumes that are representative of a specific decade as we will be conducting a Costume Contest where the winner will receive a special catered meal in our Innovation Test Kitchen boardroom by our Executive Chef. For the safety of others, please do not bring any costume weaponry (real or fake) into the Dining Hall. Additionally, please do not wear full face masks or other non-religious or non-medical face coverings; this is to avoid accidents caused by poor vision while navigating the Dining Hall.
- Carleton Dining reserves the right to remove any disruptive persons from the event as needed. If you appear to be intoxicated or pose any apparent threat to other guests, you will be denied entry or made to leave.
