Dining Dollars
What are Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars are funds that come with certain Carleton meal plans. All Residence Meal Plans include them, as well as certain Campus Meal Plans. Dining Dollars are loaded onto your Campus Card by default.
Dining Dollars have a few specific properties:
- Dining Dollars give the user a 15% discount off all eligible purchases!
- Dining Dollars either expire at the end of the term (for Campus Meal Plans), or the academic year (for Residence Meal Plans).
- You can Top Up your Dining Dollars through the Campus Card Web Centre if you use them all up before your plan expires!
- Dining Dollars can only be used at select Dining Services locations (currently excludes Bridgehead, Tim Hortons Athletics & Tim Hortons Nideyinàn).
- For Residence Meal Plans only, please note that Dining Dollars are split by term and pro-rated based on the number of days in each term.
Ravens 500 Dollars
What are Ravens 500 Dollars?
Ravens 500 Dollars are funds that come with the Ravens 500 Campus Meal Plan. Ravens 500 Dollars are funds that can be used at almost all Dining Services locations (excluding Bridgehead).
Ravens 500 Dollars have a few specific properties:
- Ravens 500 Dollars, with the purchase of a Ravens 500 Meal Plan, come with a 5% boost in bonus dollars meaning you will receive $25 bonus dollars that act just like Ravens 500 Dollars, to be spent at Dining Services locations across campus.
- Ravens 500 Dollars cannot be topped up like Dining Dollars, but you can re-purchase the Ravens 500 Meal Plan as many times as you would like!
- Ravens 500 Dollars never expire so you can use them throughout your entire time here at Carleton University!
Convenience Dollars
What are Convenience Dollars?
Convenience Dollars are funds that can be used to make purchases at various outlets across campus including most Dining Services locations (excluding Bridgehead), The Carleton Bookstore, CU on the GO and even Vending Machines.
While Convenience Dollars do not come with any discounts or other perks like Dining & Ravens 500 Dollars, they do have a few specific properties:
- Convenience Dollars can be used to make purchases from almost all outlets on campus!
- Convenience Dollars never expire so you can use them throughout your entire time here at Carleton University!
