Carleton Dining’s Halloween Party!
To celebrate the spookiest season of the year, Carleton Dining will throwing a Halloween Party at Teraanga Commons Dining Hall! Join us for a night of carnival games, dancing, scary movies, Halloween-themed foods and more!

What You Need to Know
- This event will be available to residence students with a meal plan ONLY. Admission will not be granted via guest passes or through the purchase of a walk-in pass.
- Please note that on October 30th, the expansion area of the Dining Hall (Umami & Innovation Test Kitchen) will close at 2:00 p.m. in preparation for the event, followed by the rest of the Dining Hall at 6:00 p.m.
- If you do not wish to participate in the event but are still looking to have a meal for dinner that night, we encourage students to order a Boxed Meal. Boxed Meals must be ordered no later than Tuesday, October 28th at 4:00 pm and picked up no later than 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event (October 30th).
- To access the Dining Hall for this event, students will enter via Staircase E near the front entrance of Teraanga Commons building. The main entrance to the Dining Hall located in Stairwell D will be CLOSED for the duration of the event. Students who require mobility accommodations may use the elevator across from Stairwell E to access and exit the event. Stairwell A will remain accessible as an exit only.
- Students must still bring their Campus Card with them so that they may tap into the Dining Hall through the Stairwell E entrance.
- We encourage students to dress up in Halloween costumes as we will be conducting a Costume Contest where the winner will receive a special catered meal in our Innovation Test Kitchen boardroom by our Executive Chef. For the safety of others, please do not bring any costume weaponry (real or fake) into the Dining Hall. Additionally, please do not wear full face masks or other non-religious or non-medical face coverings; this is to avoid accidents caused by poor vision while navigating the Dining Hall.
- Students who participate in our Pumpkin Carving Contest taking place on Tuesday, October 28 at Innovation Test Kitchen will have their pumpkins voted on by attendees of the event. The winner will also receive a special catered meal in our Innovation Test Kitchen boardroom by our Executive Chef!
- Carleton Dining reserves the right to remove any disruptive persons from the event as needed. If you appear to be intoxicated or pose any apparent threat to other guests, you will be denied entry or made to leave.
