Make sure to say hello to Sous Chef Devon next time you see him in the Dining Hall! Devon was born and brought up in the Nation’s Capital and has been fascinated with cooking ever since he watched his mother prepare delicious meals from an early age. This inspired him to pursue the Culinary Management program at Algonquin College and eventually find work at Lexington Smokehouse before eventually joining our team at Carleton Dining Services!

Devon lists French and Japanese cuisines as two of his favourites; as such, you might find him working behind the counter at Umami in the Dining Hall, preparing sushi and ramen for guests! In his spare time, Devon is a big fan of playing games and is particularly fond of Warhammer.
