Sous Chef

Have you had a chance to enjoy Sous Chef Abhiram’s cooking yet? Make sure you do, as he’s always cooking up something delicious in the Dining Hall! Abhiram grew up in the province of Kerala towards the south of India and spent much of his childhood in restaurants owned by many of his family members, learning the craft of working in a kitchen. After completing the Culinary Management program at Algonquin College, he worked as a Junior Sous Chef at Milestones before eventually becoming a Sous Chef at the Dining Hall.

It’s no surprise that Abhiram’s favourite style of cooking is Indian; last year, he even prepared a special pop-up at Innovation Test Kitchen and served an incredible Vada Pav dish to celebrate Holi! Abhiram also enjoys weightlifting in his spare time and boxing on occasion.
