Boxed Meals

NOTE: Beginning February 16, 2026, our Boxed Meal Program will be serving a fixed menu featuring sandwiches, cold plate options and a choice of various sides. The menu can be viewed by clicking the button below.

When ordering a boxed meal, your order pickup date must be two (2) calendar days in advance of the day your order is placed. Orders must be placed no later than 9:00 pm on that day; if your order is placed after 9:00 pm, your boxed meal will not be made. Please note that you may order only one boxed meal per meal period. Placing multiple boxed meal orders within any single meal period will result in the cancellation of those orders.


Your boxed meal can be picked up at the front desk of Teraanga Commons Dining Hall. It will be available between 4:30 pm the day before your scheduled pickup date and 10:00 pm on your pickup date, and can be picked up during regular hours of operation.


If you have two consecutive missed pick-ups for boxed meal orders, we will be pausing the production of any of your upcoming meal requests until such a time we can reach you to discuss your next order, in an effort to reduce food waste. Additionally, you may cancel a boxed meal order as long as you give 48 hours advance notice. For cancelling, please contact us at diningservices@carleton.ca. If you are looking to cancel on shorter notice, please call us at (613) 520-2600 ext. 8422 and leave a message with your information and the boxed meal you wish to cancel.
