Born in Ottawa, Luke has been in the culinary industry for over 13 years and is a Red Seal Certified Chef. Luke began his culinary career working as a dishwasher and worked his way up to becoming a Chef de Cuisine. He Specializes in modern Canadian Cuisine, with a focus on using local ingredients. He is passionate about international travel and has visited many places such as Portugal, Iceland, U.K. and Curacao, all of which have inspired his cooking and allowed his creativity to flourish. Luke has learned a lot from senior chefs, but he credits his mother with teaching him how to relax and enjoy making tasty food.
One of the proudest moments of Luke’s career was catering a 5-course meal for a wedding out of a barn without running water or electricity for over 200 people. During his off days, you can catch Luke spending time with his family and playing as much hockey as possible.
