Born in Ottawa, Ontario
Started working in kitchens at the age of 15 because he needed money to buy skateboards. Jon moved to Vancouver at 18 to snowboard. He was a pro snowboarder for 4 years till he broke his hip and shoulder and returned to Ottawa to explore his passion – becoming a Chef!
Here are some highlights and work experience for Jon:
- In 2004, attended Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute
- Married with one son named Lincoln
- Worked in various hotels, restaurants, and catering operations
- Part of the Carleton University Dining Services team for the past 5 years
